Are you going on a trip to Seattle? Then it might be a very good idea to bring your umbrella! Seattle often experiences wet season, that's why the old joke goes that people in the city don't tan, they rust. There are a lot of expensive ways to enjoy Seattle. Here are a few practical and reasonable tips on how to travel affordably in Seattle.

The best time to visit Seattle is around July to August. By this time, summer is at its full swing, the weather is very warm, and there is not much rain to put a damp on your stay. So make sure you book your trip to the city around this time of the year.

But then, you might ask how do you enjoy the sights and sounds of the city if you have a limited budget?  You can always go to The Museum of Flight and be mesmerized by its amazing collection of aircraft. Here, admission is absolutely free of charge every first Thursday evening of the month. The museum opens from 5:00 p.m. up to 9:00 p.m. What's more, the museum is just a stone's throw away from the commercial district of Seattle, and just a few minutes away from Interstate 5.  You won't have any problems locating the museum.

Then there is the popular Space Needle, which is one of the more recognizable landmarks in Seattle. The Space Needle was designed for the World's Fair in 1962. Since then it has been a must-see attraction in Seattle.   You can step in one of the glass elevators that will take you to the top of the observation deck, which is around 520 feet in elevation.  You can always ask your hotel personnel on discount coupons to a trip to the Space Needle.  This has proven to be one of the best attractions in Seattle, and also one of the more affordable activities.

If you would like to try out a lot of activities, then it is best to opt for the Go Seattle Card.  With this deal, you can step in to over 30 various activities, destinations, and tours.  And it is very cheap, going for as low as $55.00 in a day. Many tourists are going for this option because it is very economical and of course it allows them to see Seattle in various ways.

You can likewise view float-planes land even as you go sailing across the lake.

Of course, a trip to Seattle will not be complete without dropping by the coffee shops. You can spend a small amount on a cup of coffee and then enjoy the sights of the city by lounging around a coffee shop.
